Newcastle Vegan Guide are throwing a vegan picnic on Sunday at 1pm. Vegans and the vegan curious are invitedto join in an afternoon of delicious food, luxurious swims in the bogie hole and socialising with like minded folks.

We have created this event in order to attract a range of Novocastrians who are part of and interested in the vegan lifestyle. Our event has attracted an unexpectedly large response from our followers, with an incredible response on Facebook of over 350 people attended and interested in attending and hundreds of Instagram comments on event posts.

We have seen vegan food becoming increasingly popular in Newcastle, the hospitality industry and small businesses are providing many more options than were available, even just twelve months ago. Social media has been a wonderful platform to connect to people who are vegan, interested in becoming vegan or simply interested in a more healthful, ethical lifestyle. We decided it was time to put passion to practice and gather as many Newcastle vegan foodies together in one of Newcastle’s most beautiful locations with the intent to connect, have fun and enjoy delicious food.
